Muay Thai
For Women
Coached by a woman. Beginner-friendly classes in Thornbury — start with a 7-day intro for $47.
It's normal to feel nervous
Almost every woman feels it on her first night. By the end of the hour it’s turned into something else — you’ve thrown your first proper kick, the room knows your name, and you’re already planning your next class.
That’s the thing about Muay Thai: the confidence doesn’t wait until you’re good at it. It starts on day one — and it follows you out the door.
A class built around you
Structured, guided, and beginner-friendly from the first minute to the last.
Coached by a woman
Mel leads the class — encouraging, technical, and genuinely invested in you getting it right.
Made for beginners
You don’t need to be fit or coordinated — training builds both. Everyone here started exactly where you are.
A room of women
You'll train beside women who want the same things you do — and who remember their first night too.
Fitness with a point to it
You're not punching air to music. You're learning something real — and it gives back.
Skill
Real technique, taught in order — you can see yourself getting better week by week.
Strength & fitness
A genuine full-body workout — built class by class, not crammed into a crash.
Quiet confidence
Practical self-defence that changes how you carry yourself — on the mats and off.
Belonging
People stay for the room as much as the workout. You'll feel why on night one.
What a class actually looks like
Real women, real training — Thursday nights (and Tuesdays from 10 November) in Thornbury.

Before you start
Do I need to be fit to start?
No. This class is built for women starting from scratch — everyone develops at their own pace and the room meets you where you are. You get fitter as you train, not before.
Do I need any experience?
None at all. The class teaches the fundamentals from scratch, in the right order, properly explained.
What happens after the intro?
Most women move onto a regular weekly membership — 1, 2 or 3 classes a week, no contract. You can also train any adult class on the timetable.
What should I bring to my first class?
Comfortable workout clothes you can move in, a water bottle, and yourself — that's all for your first class. We provide gloves for your first week, so there's nothing to buy before you start.
