Muay Thai
For Kids
Structure, respect and real skill — coached by people certified to work with children. Start with the 14-day intro for $47.
It's normal for them to be nervous
Almost every kid is quiet in the car on the way to their first class. By pick-up they're showing you a kick in the kitchen and asking when they can go back.
That's the thing about earned confidence: it doesn't come from being told they're great. It comes from doing something real — and getting better at it every week.
Why families stay with ACSA
Most kids' activities are designed to fill a term. This one is designed to build a person.
Structured gradings
Kids progress through a real grading system — every rank earned, every milestone celebrated.
Safe, qualified coaching
Coaches are first-aid trained and certified to work with children — patient, structured and switched on.
Term-based curriculum
Classes follow the school term with a new focus each week, building to a grading at term's end.
Respect & values
Respect for coaches, training partners and themselves is taught in every class — not assumed.
More than a sport, more than a class
Underneath the games and pad work are the habits parents actually want built.
Confidence
Built on skills they've earned — the kind that holds up at school, not just on the mats.
Discipline & focus
Setting a goal, working at it weekly, and seeing it pay off at grading.
Fitness & coordination
A healthy outlet for their energy — strength, balance and coordination that grows with them.
Belonging
A crew that trains together, term after term. Kids stay for the room as much as the sport.
Is this right for your child?
Your family will fit right in if…
- › You want structure, not just an activity to fill a term
- › You value respect and discipline being actively taught
- › You're thinking in years — skills that grow with your child
- › Your child is ready to listen, try, and keep trying
No hard feelings — it's just not the right fit if:
- × You're after casual school-holiday entertainment
- × You're looking for an hour of babysitting each week
- × You expect belt promises on a fixed schedule
Your child's pathway — term by term
Week one is easy. The results come from the terms after it.
Term 1: the nervous starter
They walk in shy. Coaches turn nerves into fun by week two.
The wobble: when novelty wears off
Some weeks they won't feel like going — normal. Routine and mates carry them through.
Consistency starts to show
Better focus at school. Real discipline. Confidence earned at grading.
The lesson that lasts
Learning to stick at hard things. Some of our adults started here as kids.

For parents
What ages are the kids classes for?
Kids train in two groups: Junior Kids (7–9) and Senior Kids (10–12), back to back on the same afternoons. From 12, kids move into the Teens program.
Is it safe? Will my child be fighting?
No fighting. Kids train technique through pads, drills and games — controlled, supervised, and matched to age and size. Coaches are first-aid trained and certified to work with children.
Does my child need to be sporty to start?
No. Classes cater to every fitness and experience level — the coaches meet each child where they are, and the skills build week by week.
How do we book the intro?
Online in a few minutes — book the Kids 14-Day Intro ($47) and bring them to their first class. Times are on the Kids & Teens timetable.
